We've made some improvements to the way that drop-down lists work so that they're easier to manage. Values now appear in a list, you can drag them to rearrange them, and you can drop in values as text in order to quickly create drop-down values.
The future is automated. With the latest version of Beacon automation workflows you can automatically update records when another record changes.
Beacon's workflows feature allows you to automate time consuming tasks and build your own helpful automations within Beacon. Now out of Beta testing and released in full, you can use workflows for all sorts of handy things - and now workflows can be triggered whenever you create or update a record!
You can find out more in our blog post which gives you an introduction to the feature and suggests some handy use cases.
We've made it quicker and easier for you to upload files to Beacon. You'll find our new dropzones all over the place - you can drag a file into the dashed box rather than selecting it from a list. Snazzy.
You can now jump straight to the data that's being represented by a dashboard card. Just click the new icon in the top right of the card. This also works for charts - you'll be whisked away to the page for that chart.
Our intrepid band of Founder Members have been getting things off to a good start on Beacon's new private Facebook Group. It's a place to exchange ideas, tips, and best practices and all Beacon customers are now invited to join!
You can find the group here and we'd love to welcome you in.
The group is only available to Beacon customers.
Right now we're concentrating on Beacon's ticketing feature, but you can expect some UX improvements and an update to how Beacon handles contact preferences soon.
