You can now add a handy new field type to your records. Rating fields provide a useful visual representation of numerical values between 0 and 10.
You can rate major donors based on their liklihood to donate, a grant application's progress, and score volunteer applications.
Rating fields also work on Beacon forms, so it's easy to collect feedback with surveys and questionaires.
Alerts in Beacon are a great way to highlight important information on a record. They appear at the top of a record.

You can configure alerts using filters to determine whether or not they display on a given record.

With Beacon's Gift Aid declaration forms you can now collect Gift Aid declarations quickly and easily, unlocking the revenue in your existing donations.
You can now add a Gift Aid section to a standard Beacon signup form, which allows you to collect a Gift Aid declaration and link it to an existing supporter.
Now is a great time to reach out to your supporters to run a Gift Aid campaign. We've written a step-by-step guide explaining how to do this in Beacon.

It's now much easier to keep your records neat and tidy. With Card Visibility you can choose whether a card should show or not based on some criteria in Beacon. For example, now you can display fields revelevant to volunteers only if the person type is 'Volunteer'.
Next month we'll be making the way that we handle contact preferences more flexible, improving membership forms, and improving how Beacon handles standing orders. Bigger upcoming projects include a notifications system for reminders and Beacon's ticketing system.
